How Do I Start and Manage Private Channels for My Fans?

Private channels on Finay are an ideal way to give exclusive access to Backstage Pass holders or other select fan groups. Here’s how to set them up and manage them effectively:

  • Setting Up a Private Channel: Go to the Connect icon on the top right, click on Channels, and then the + icon to create a new channel. Name your channel and specify the members who should have access (like Backstage Pass holders). Once you click Create Channel, your private channel is ready for fans to join.

  • Engage Regularly with Updates and Replies: Post regularly to keep fans engaged. Share updates, new project snippets, or day-to-day thoughts to keep fans feeling connected. Remember to respond to comments and questions—showing that you’re listening makes fans feel more valued.

  • Share Exclusive Content: Use your private channel to post early releases, exclusive previews, and announcements. Fans love feeling like they’re “in the know,” and private channels are the perfect way to build that sense of exclusivity.

  • Pin Important Messages: If you have key information, such as rules, FAQs, or a welcome message, you can pin it to the top of the channel for easy access. Simply go to the message, click on the three dots icon, and select Pin.

By regularly posting valuable content and engaging with fans in these private spaces, you create a VIP experience that fans will want to return to often.
