Cashing Out Riffs into Fiat Currency

When you're ready to convert your Riffs into fiat currency (such as USD), you can do so through Finay's withdrawal process, facilitated by our payment partner, Tipalti. Here's how it works:

1. Access Your Wallet

   • Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select Wallet to view your Riff balance.

2. Initiate the Withdrawal

   • Click the Withdraw button. You'll be prompted to complete a few required steps to set up your withdrawal, including KYC (Know Your Customer) verification.

3. Complete Tipalti Requirements

   • You'll need to provide necessary information for compliance and payment processing. Once your setup is complete, return to your Wallet, select the amount of Riffs you want to withdraw, and confirm the transaction.

4. Conversion and Fees

   • Finay Fee: A 5% fee is applied when converting Riffs to fiat currency to cover platform maintenance and transaction costs.

   • Tipalti Fees: Tipalti's fees vary based on the withdrawal method:

     • ACH Transfer: Approximately $1 per transaction.

     • Wire Transfer (USD Domestic): Between $15 and $32 per transaction.

     • Wire Transfer (Non-USD): Between $20 and $36 per transaction.

     • PayPal: Approximately $1.75 to $2 per transaction, plus PayPal's transmission fee (around 2%, with a maximum of $1 for U.S. recipients and $20 for non-U.S. recipients).

     • Foreign Currency Conversion: An additional fee ranging from 1.9% to 3.5% may apply if currency conversion is involved.
